Last night, I attended a premier for the Transworld: The Cinematographer Project at FTC on Haight St. in San Francisco. I always hear how fun they are and I’m currently teaming up with Bridge to Skate in planning a premier for 5Boro’s “Join or Die”. The vibe FTC in SF brings is always one of the best. The boys that run that store are absolutely phenomenal and genuine dudes that make the overall experience comfortable, warm and they treat you like an old friend. Times that by 10 and you got a video premier at FTC.
The store was packed and everyone was having a damn good time. After mingling for a bit, Ando finally hollers “Press play!!”.. waiting… waiting… “ITS THE WHITE REMOTE!”. This film was INCREDIBLE. It was a chance for the filmers to call the shots and it showed. The spots that were revealed were unreal, the skaters featured put out their best and effortless lines. This film showed a perfect example of what happens when a filmer and the skater fuel each other. Highly recommended buy off itunes or at your local shops. Hands down.
Thank you FTC SF, for your hospitality and beers.

You know I put it on for my boy, Jabari. Collab board with Brad for Western Edition. Bought the last on at FTC on Haight in San Francisco.
Still can’t get over this night. Even tho he only knew me by my Twitter name, I wasn’t mad.
Such a fuckin’ wild night!! Please, take me back!

Only female in the front because I go hard. What an epic night..
S.O.T.Y.
I was front row for all the drama. Don’t ever tell a skater he ain’t a skater.
Completely random, last minute trip to San Francisco after being invited to the Skater of the Year party for Grant Taylor was worth every minute. I was in a room full of legendary skateboarders, complete with an open bar, a Trash Talk and Mellowhype performance, and so many good moments.
I fanned out for a bit towards the end.. who wouldn’t after seeing Mike Carroll just chillin’? Last night was one for the books. I never knew what “going ham” meant until last night.. Finally got to meet Salazar, dude knew who I was and he was thanking ME! What? Insane. We got hooked up fat and I am so appreciative to know the people I know that make things like this happen. Fuck! My night fucking ruled!
